Hi folks,I'm just about to begin my first mosfet box I have all my bits(just waiting on new step drill bits) what I'm wondering is if anyone has had any issues fitting a fat daddy vapes switch in a NLS g box or Hammond 1590g as they are about the same size. I have gone a bit of a line up and it looks like the switch could foul the battery ImageUploadedByPlanet of the Vapes1432150359.888038.jpg

Hi, if your choice of switch is for aesthetic reasons completely ignore this post...:)

The appeal of the FDV switch is that it is rated to 10a. Negating the need for a mosfet.

IMO it lends itself best to a series build.

My resolution would be to grab a switch with a smaller footprint. Seedy has a good few lil'uns on his site.

Also, nothing wrong with a little bit of hack and slash on the keystone. They made of strong stuff, and you can whittle them away without too much trouble.

Rotate switch so both connections are vertical, then have the wires going into the top? ;)

Loco it was was mostly that I went for the FDV switch to go with the low profile FDV 510,I know it should be ok without mosfet but I'd rather have one and not need than not have one and regret it,lol Raguri
Not so much worried bout the wires fouling I was thinking the switch body but I think I'll manage it some how with some adventurous whittling of the battery sled
Cheers guys!

Just another thought. If there isn't room, you can grind away the box body post.

I'd go for a miTEK 12mm from Seedy but that's just my preference. The miTEKs are what will be in my Boxes once I release them.

Thanks guys my new drill bits should be here tomorrow so I'll definitely consider your tips
