So just want to know if it would be easy to make my own mod . The same sorta size as a BOXER

The SX350 is one of the easier chips to work with. The J is a beast. Just finished a build recently with one. Whats your plan?

Just wanted to know really I'd it be cheaper to make my own with the j and to be same size as the boxer

The j can be had for ~$80. Box can be whatever you want and other parts are about $10 total. Plus batteries if you need them.

It's easy-ish depending on your enclosure. The 350J you can get from Seedy over at Modmaker for £70, then there's the enclosure and parts, you're prob looking at around £80-100 depending on what parts you get.

Is there anywhere I can get summat 3d printed if I had all the right specs for the enclosure I wanted ? And is it cheap to have 3d printed ?

peps1 or I can print it for you, we both have 3D printers. For me it's material cost (which is fairly cheap) and printer time... If you have the STL ready to go anything's possible.

Not even thought about that bit yet just looking into it at min

If you are willing to have your wallet sucked dry in the most horrifying fashion you can get SX350J Mod boxes or just Faceplates and switch sets from Shapeways...

The Faceplates are a pretty good option as then you can use a Standard box use simple tools to cut a square hole and fit the faceplate - that takes care of mounting the board and screen, then it's just a battery holder, 510 connection and paint / coating job...
