Syringes vs Scales

I quite fancy getting scales but I don't have any problem using syringes with my VG and VG nic. I just take the plunger out, hold my thumb over the nozzle and pour the VG into the top of the syringe. It's surprisingly easy to control accurately. Replace the plunger and plunge away. Plunge.

I do find when pouring a high vg mix from a cylinder (I use vg based nic too) that it can sometimes vapour lock in the bottle neck and I get ig everywhere. Other than that, +1 for them.

I went all fkin geeky today...spent ages weighing everything thinking this was going to be an exact science...only to discover the e juice me up fking calculator thingy can only cope with one flavour gram measure(or am I missing something)
Anyway the long and short of it is I am going with 1.04g for flavour...this is a bawhair of an increase in the vast majority of my measurements...

eJuice me up allows for 10 flavours in grams.

I haven't got the app/program to check but from an ejuice-me-up screenshot it looks like it uses some sort of average density (g/ml) figure. For DIY, I wouldn't worry too much about it. For more accurate calculations you'll probably have to whip out a calculator.

its cool...as I mentioned earlier I just got a bit geeky with the scales and calculator splitting bawhairs...thinking I could input
flavour 1 = a gram value of 1.00
flavour 2 = a gram value of 1.02
flavour 3 = a gram value of 0.98
and so on....but the calc says no....who do you think you are, put in one gram value of say 1.0 for all like everyone else does..ok fair enuff will do..lol

I doubt you could measure the required 1ml samples accurately enough to trust that level of variation anyway.

the vg pg and nic is accurate...so the variations in the different flavour concentrations will be varied and prob accurate...but more to the point will make fk all difference at so minute levels.
