Taifun gt questions

Just rewicked without folding back, just wondering, if it was going to flood or gurgle would it do it pretty quick?
Vaping lovely and haven't had any dry hits yet, no gurgles or leaks, if it was gonna do it, would it have done it over the last hour since wicking?

Nice one @Danny K some good tips in there.
Ok so I've finally got round to wicking and filling, I used the fold back technique in the thread danny linked.

Its vaping fine, lots of vapour and flavour. Not sure on it yet though.
I think I prefer the flavour from my kayfuns. I do like the draw from the taifun though.

So far for me, pro's, easy to build, nice draw, don't have to drain tank to get at wick n coil.

Con's, prefer the flavour from my kayfuns, prefer the look of the kayfun, hate the fact its a weird diameter and doesn't sit flush on anything I own!

I'll give it a week and see if it can win me over

I use the build you are talking about, cotton then double it over. I like this clone so much I am thinking about buying the real thing.

Hmmm, I ordered a black chrome kayfun from ft a month ago, it got delivered today, I've coiled it, wicked it and put it away in my vape box, then I refilled the taifun. Something tells me this thing is winning me over

The Taifun is spot on, I'm looking for another
Easy to build, nice draw not to airy or tight, no leaks it's a winner for me.
I'm finding building this as simple to change a coil in PT3

I agree, the novelty of vaping is settling down for me now, I'm pretty much done with chasing new gear and trying different builds for fun. I'm pretty happy now to find something faff free that just works, I thought I was there with my kayfuns but now I've tried the taifun I think this is even better. Good capacity, if theres an issue I can get to the coil n wick without finding a funnel and emptying it out and its so quick and easy too build that its almost silly not to rewick at the same time you refill!

Now my hana clone is here, the odd 23mm diameter no longer matters since it has no overhang on the hana.

Now, I think I'll go for another taifun, stick all my kayfuns on the classifieds and settle back to stress and faff free vaping

Had a fair bit of leakage today from the airhole. As soon as I drain this tank I'll rebuild with the loop back wick

I had a leakage too but my own fault I overfilled.
Done a recoil and wick on the drain down, refilled and chugging away nicely.

Gone back to a kayfun whilst the taifun is taking a dip in the ultrasonic, dare I say it, I prefer the taifun. Better flavour, vapour and draw

The only issue I have found found with a taifun is temperate change. Sometimes going from a warm room out into the cold, or vice versa, I get a bit of a leak. Literally no change other than temperate and it leaks. This happened before and after I opened up the air hole. But it's no biggie. Top class atty otherwise!
