Tc help please

26 gauge SS , 2.4 mm , not spaced coil

Steam engine says that relates to around a 10 wrap coil? That's quite a small diameter coil and quite a long coil. Not unworkable in either case but it would require very precise wicking. TC works better with spaced coils and requires that wicking be considerably looser than with kanthal, or SS inn wattage mode. If the atty will allow, I'd try a 3mm ID, 7 or 8 wrap spaced coil and wick it so that there is essentially no resistance to pulling the cotton through the coil and see if that improves matters. Good luck.

Thanks will give that a try on next build :2thumbsup:

Hi I tried your build and it worked great thanks , sadly my Goblin mini keeps leaking around the glass tried everything so it's going back , I am now looking at a Kayfun V5 from fastteck but never ordered from them , do you have any experience using fastteck ? :hmm:

What a shame. Glad the build was giving better results though and thanks for the update. FastTech is great, very popular on the forum and I've spent hundreds there. You do have to be a bit patient mind you. It will generally take 2-4 weeks to receive your goods. Gearbest is another good Chinese site to check out but the same rules apply.
