Teething problems with Kayfun lite plus?

After recoiling protanks for years I made the jump and bought a Kayfun lite plus and it not been a easy transition.

Firstly the damn whistling is very annoying can that be fixed? The on to the coil itself, I have made a few micro coils with organic cotton 1.5ohms - 1.7ohms, Throat hit is not great for a start, neither is vapour production, and as for flavour Its not overly strong either.

Any ideas on where I am going wrong?

Not sure on the the whistling. Have you watched any tutorial videos on youtube? When I first made the transition to a kayfun a while back I used one of these. It took a while to watch but may save you some time in the long run. Check this one out and see how you go. May be something really simple but my thoughts are maybe the coil placement?

Which device are you using? If you're using a mech with coils of that resistance, you're only getting about 11 watts, nowhere near enough.

As for the whistling, I think the cheaper clones do this. My Infinite and Ehpro are silent but my Ivogo could referee a football match.

I have it on a MVP 2

That only goes up to 11 watts I believe. This a bit low, in my experience Kayfuns need 15W+, but you can improve things.

What gauge wire are you using? You can improve things by using 0.2mm wire (32 gauge).

Was using 30, also have 32 though, I think they are both .2

Running out of options lol. It looks like a more powerful mod is your only option, but see if you can try one out first.

The lack of vapour is probably from the coil position, you could try raising it by 1mm or so.

Re. the whistling, you could try bending a piece of wire and putting it in the air inlet hole, that may stop it totally (or just change the pitch)
