Tesla Punk 85 w not working

Hey !
So almost a year that i own this mod and its so awesom , i would prefer it to everyone.
But , last night i put it on charge whit about 20%. I usually use my PC usb port to charge it , yeah.. i was to lazy to buy
a cell charger. Whatever , morning when I woke up , i realized that the mod is off. i have tried to turn it on but nothing happend. I pluged it again , after 5 minits it turned on , but it shows 0% of battery . I left it about 30 minutes but still shows 0% , i cant use it because of low battery , also when i try to set the ohm , it says no atomizer.

Have you tried reseating the battery or tried a spare?

Have you changed the batteries at all in the 12 months you have owned it?

I think it is most probably an issue with the 18650 battery, not the mod.

As above, swap the battery out and see what effect that has.

No , i didnt bacause i have no other batteries. I thought that the problems is bigger bacuse its sees no atomizer meanwhile
its connected.

Another battery is cheaper than a new mod. Laziness and complacency are dangerous bedfellows, you should stop charging things unsupervised and treat yourself to a charger when you buy some new batteries

No, i didnt change it . Next week i am going to buy a new one , hope it will correct the problem.

Any tips what type of battery should i buy ? I usually use it on 60w , but i want to know that im safe if i use it on 85w. Should i buy the same (lg hg2 20A 3000mAh) or search for something else?

Use fogstar amp calculator will give you the choice when you stick in your wattages, up to 70w you have a choice of 3, anything above that you will need a 30A battery and will only give you one choice Samsung 20s

Hello @Andor welcome to the planet.

I own a 120watt Tesla Steampunk Nano version myself. Mine doesn't have a USB port built in, but i have several sets of batteries, which i rotate in sequence for this mod, so as not to over use the batteries too quickly. Definately worth investing in a decent battery charger & spare batteries (i also get mine from Fogstar Batteries)...as it's never a good idea to leave a mod on charge unsupervised. Even with other mods i have that do have a USB port (i too sometimes use the PC ports too), but i never leave them on for hours, unchecked.

Also, that 85 watt mod presumably has just the one battery? Vaping at 60 watts will certainly 'wear' out that battery out quicker than if you got a bigger mod perhaps? The 120 watt Steampunk Nano i have, uses two 16650s, perhaps it might be worth investing in a meatier mod when you're next able get one. I use 2 Samsung 30As in mine. Just an idea.

But definately worth getting a battery charger for peace of mind. They're not expensive.
