@killgore the link to download escibe is further down the page under "escibe software" https://www.evolvapor.com/products/dna75 the link wasn't there originally, I edited it as I went along rather than ending up with half a dozen separate posts.

@MrDJ The G-class is an awesome piece of kit, it's not necessary to use the software for the main as pretty much everything can be changed on the mod.

With a DNA mod some settings can only be changed through the software, most users may never need to use it though. It all depends on how far you want to customise the settings and most manufacturers load a fairly decent set of presets on board these days as well.

The only DNA I've got is the SX mini g but not messed about with the app or comp settings. Might be time to learn.

the g class is a yihi sx550 chip, not a DNA...

expect lots of helppppp posts from me as only ever used 1 tc coil before. also i dont build so will be using crown, S22 and freemax starre pro Tc coils as thats all ive got.

Stock 316 coils should work just fine in TC, the easiest TC wire to use though is NiFe30 - It's steep resistance change makes it the most accurate after Ni200. The most durable is Titanium.

Just remember to make the coils spaced and let the atty cool properly before registering the resistance, and don't use too much cotton...

@Tubbyengineer hi. I also don’t make my own coils but have some stainless steel ones 2.5 and 0.5 ohms can I use these if I space them first

Never built temp control coils n not sure if I imagined dry burning some wires is a no no?

@joe90 the 2.5ohm coils are too high a resistance for TC, the 0.5ohm coils are perfect though. (Or did you mean 2.5mm Inner diameter @ 0.5 ohms... also perfect for TC) you don't absolutely need to space them, TC will work with contact coils but it's slightly less accurate.

@DjDoc ss wire can be safely pulsed and dry burned like ka1 which is why it has become the most popular/widespread TC wire in use.
