Arrived today :smug:, been sat here all night on you tube watching videos and tips using different methods of how to make a wick, wire it up right down to seeing a vid where ppl use a small piece of rizla paper on the coil set up. also read loads where ppl struggle, but theres no going back now, its practice and practice.

One question whats the best size to cut the mesh at

also thinking about one of these from B&Q what do ppl think http://www.diy.com/nav/fix/handtool...-Micro-Tech-Pen-Torch-11248034?skuId=11758739

and a bit of cobra porn :applause:

Go with a cooks torch unless you have a gas hob.
i tried something similar to that and it didnt work as good as a torch
Cut the mesh angled, and about as wide as 2 finger widths unless you have super huge hands :)

I used a blunt needle to wrap around to keep it hollow as well :)

I know Tesco sells them online... should be in the baking sections of shops...

45 degree angle supposedly helps it wick better, but I cut mine in whatever direction I felt like :P
