The 'Dexter' mod

bob - I realised a long time ago that there are a lot of people with a lot more talent than me mate! The people that took the challenge have shown great creativity. I can't wait to see Raguri's mod - he's playing things very close to his chest... :D

Im playing the 'where the foock is my soldering iron game'. Still cant find it!

I "lost" mine the other evening Sam. Guess what? I actually forgot I'd moved it from the mancave into the kitchen to see better! The only reason I found it was because I could smell "hot" about forty minutes later! I put it down to age! :D

Cheers for all the comments
I wasn't too sure how it go down, but i've definately been inspired by you guys to try my hand at another one, something a little different i reckon :hmm:
@bob tbh i haven't tried it out yet,not since i soldered it all together to make sure it was all connected, theres a couple of screws from the hinge which stick out into the battery compartment which need to be trimmed, but then its all go :)

Wow, that's cool. Loved seeing the different stages.
Makes me want to savage an old pressed tin jewelry box of the wifes. (only her dead grans she won't mind)
And learn basic electronics!

Do it mate, mine was made from a baccy tin and an old quality street tin :30:Up until a couple of weeks back i had never even held a soldering iron and as for electronics, the closest i'd been was skanking all the electricians old wire out of skips on building sites to weigh in.
Go for it and make one(maybe not from the old jewellery box though)and lets have some pics
