What's new

The Flavorah Tobacco Lounge

Lovage Root: one drop in 10ml base, it reminds me of eating raw broccoli, notably the broccoli stalk. I piled some commercial/ classic on top and it's not bad, I'm desperate though.

desperate for what? i thought you said you had 300 odd concentrates, why you having to resort to broccoli stem and burning filter?? :D

I'm desperate to justify the Lovage purchase. I think it's now burning a layer of skin, off of my tongue, there is this residual after taste, it's indescribable. I remember swigging petrol from a lemonade bottle when I was young, this isn't quite that bad.

celery is a bit earthy, mind. hmm i might get some of this. :D

Mumsnet is for this sort of thing:

Check out what he had eaten before hand. For example if you have a nut allergy and partner had eaten nuts before you gave him a BJ and swallowed you would have a reaction.

Any thoughts on this one?

Newton's Pipe:

Fig and dark berry tobacco.

My original recipe https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/94745#honey_i_figged_up_the_bacco_by_ebc88. I used Fig @2% and didn't tame all the anise/licorice off that it brings along with it. Then I seen this recipe https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/126455#concrete_newtons_by_alfredpudding, and thought I would give VT Fig another shot. It pairs perfectly with VT Red Dates & the FLV Milk & Honey adds some creaminess and sweetness to the fruits. Flv Native & INW Black for Pipe pair excellently together, & the INW keeps the FLV tobaccos from doing the boomerang fading thing they like to do when they steep. Black for Pipe also has some really great berry notes mixed in with the pipe style tobacco. The VT FIG & Red Dates really bring those notes out.

I enjoyed this fresh but INW tobaccos need 10-14 days to steep. So they fully come through in the mix.

No I was going to use FA fig, and sub the classic, with black or dark for pipe. 1.5% Native looks too strong, I'll lower it.
