Its drawing closer Gentleman and Lady ,if the threat of a certain Doris (@Greebo ) materialises.
The good news is that it is looking like a reasonably full house and the upstairs room is confirmed so I would prefer to book a table for the evening meal and not take chances.. Thai or Ruby gents? please let me know your opinions.. With a bit of luck Wacky Races will have downed too much JD and after a brief spell of chundering in the kazi be well on his way back to the funny farm in a taxi by the time the more resilient of us want to eat...
The Nepal restaurant Ive counted out as the food portions were minuscule so @SirLugg would not be happy and going to the toilets was like ascending K2, which after pink drinks is not recommended.
There is always CAU steak house as an option where @SirLugg would get a burger of some stature and the other menu selections are also of excellrnt quality. Actually Haircut did make it in Cau one night and did comment that the food was excellent but after eating at his house the transport cafe on the A6 deserves a good food guide write up...
