Reading a few of the comments, drew my attention to something called 'champix / chanpix'

That was a pharma backed smoking cessation product...do a little google search and see what that could do to people!

Loco we had experience of the joys of champex in our house when my OH used it to try to give up smoking. .. he nearly burnt the house down when he fell asleep (completely comatose) whilst cooking. .. resulted in needing to replace the cooker and half the kitchen and if I hadn't got home when I did... and had to break in as he was still crashed out then he and pets would have died... it also turned him a bit weird to say the least. .. was only on it a week and trying a lower dose than they reccomended as had heard about the side effects. .. needless to say he stopped using it immediately and thankfully nothing more serious resulted but if I had been even a bit later back i dread to think what would have happened. ..
