The Nickel Microcoil Build Tutorial...

Thank you for your time making this for us I just stuck my headphones in and managed to hear it ok. Great tutorial and very helpful I have been doing some builds for a wee while now and seem to be getting on fine with them touch wood. Probs just luck but long may it continue. Now to try your method, thank you

Video will be offline for abot 4 hours or so, I'm uploading a version with re-engineered audio now, the original version is still available on my channel if you really need to see it right this very second...

Any idea what temperature the coil is reaching when dry firing and does it not become quite brittle afterwards?

For a slight red glow it should be somewhere in the 700c range, and no it doesn't seem to become brittle I've still got that same coil in my Heron now and it's working a treat...

Interesting. Maybe I pushed it a little too much as what remained of my coil was indistinguishable, didn't trust it not to have oxidized and went back to wrapping around a bolt for a spaced coil which doesn't need checking... not very practical for most decks with the DNA40's relatively high ohms limit though.

Gave this technique a try last night working great on my mutation x on smok x cube II first time getting a decent nickel build in an Rda that doesn't feel like it'll dissolve after rewicking thanks for this video!
