Hmmm, well, I’m aware that it’s an article in The Sun, so I couldn’t give a rat’s ass what it has to say.
Personally I believe that kids are smarter than these scare-mongering articles give them credit for. They are also much more resourceful. If they want something they will figure out a way to get it, label it Unicorn Candy Delight or Death's Whispering Last Throw. I think their opinion on wanting to try something is much more likely to be influenced by a fellow classmate having tried something.
How I wish these sensationalist tabloid publications that try to misinform public opinion die down and people instead rely on respectable media outlets. Sadly, click bait seems to come on top every time. Maybe us adults are not as wise as we think we are...
The Times is also owned by Murdoch / News International
All that may well be true but that's not important, the article says that "Vaping firms have been accused of marketing e-cigarettes to children by branding them with images of unicorns, rainbows and sweets." .... and if you read it you'll find out that they are being accused by 'The Royal Pharmaceutical Society'
... Pharmaceutical society chairwoman Sandra Gidley said: “These are the vaping equivalent of alcopops and clearly designed to hook teenagers into an addiction.”
that claim also seems to have been supported by British American Tobacco who have 'taken its E-Fizz and Dinner Lady products off its website pending a review'
So what you have is an attack on vaping companies by Pharma supported and reinforced by Tobacco.
That's the story and I don't think that's scare-mongering, it's just scary.
