How do you set yours up?

I got bored with the dual coil (1.7ohm) that came in the Igo-W this morning so out came the jewel screwdriver and I wrapped two 2ohm microcoils.

Attaching them to the posts was a fiddly bugger...removing the tin foil from under the coils even more so. I've done it on the T2 but this was so much more cramped.

Left the expanse of cotton wool in as a large reservoir but it does mean I'm stuck with Snake Oil for the rest of the afternoon. Shame.

Bit mankey, but i did them around an 18ga syringe. My first attempt, im pretty suprised with the peformance. Think i might be another convert.

Hi apologies for starting similar thread I'm not used to using forums, it got moved so I must have done something wrong. I just did mine on a 1.5mm drill bit n squished em tight in some needle nosed pliers while heating em up till they glowed a few times.

Do you need to boil the cotton wool first ? Just ordered some .30 kanthal going out to get some wool today

I'm thinking it depends upon what cotton wool you're using...and it's made me think I didn't check mine.

I believe that 'naturally whitened' is fine, it's the bleached stuff you need to watch out for. Could be wrong.
