Ive been vaping for a week now and I don't understand why im waking earlier every morning but still feel refreshed as though I don't need as much sleep? As im still using nicotine, I just don't get it!!! any info would be great cheers

we metabolize nicotne different with ecigs than we do when we smoked.

It takes about a half hour of vaping to get the same amount of nicotine from smoking 1 cigarette in 5 mins.

You are not loading your blood with carbon monoxide. Haemoglobin has a greater affinity for carbon monoxide than it does for oxygen. This means that it will take on board CO more than oxygen. Higher blood oxygen levels! Well done you! :2thumbsup:

It's having the same affect on me as well.

Handy to know (Dexter's) answer.

Bloody handy as I have a blood test next Monday.
I'm needle phobic, I have now developed the skill of fainting..
More OXY in blood is going to be a good thing/help.

If your (KulrMeStoopid) right and I have no reason to doubt you are, I'm not taking in that much Nicotine at all.

newcreate.png:hugs: Well done and Congrats!!! You'll notice a lot more health benefits as time goes by!!!

Yeah, I've noticed this as well, and I don't feel anywhere near as sluggish during the day.

I guess the main thing is not ingesting carbon monoxide in anywhere near the same amounts, but it has also to be beneficial not taking in formaldehyde, benzene and all the rest of the crap the lurks in ciggy smoke.

As it happens, my doctor's surgery rang me last week to check my smoking status. I explained I had switched to vaping, and received the response "Great, well done, we'll change your status to non smoker then!" After the best part of 50 years smoking, never thought I'd hear those words!!

your reaping the benefits of no longer polluting your body with all the pollutants that come with cigarettes

I started vaping after only a week back of smoking (family stress) I had given up for 6 years, I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome and since vaping my energy is near normal not eating like food is going out of fashion more than halved my medications and my muscular pain is a lot better, my Doc says stick with it as the nicotine is much better than the pills I no longer take :) so like you it's all Good Stuff
