Hi POTV's..
I'm a male, early 40's living in Wiltshire who's just ventured back in to the vaping scene. Just a brief background story..
3 years ago I was diagnosed with lung cancer, never really been a heavy smoker so can't blame it on that, specialists, onchologists and doctors I've seen agree as I was too young. It's usually seen in people aged 60+. After a pneumonectomy (lung removal) I started up again, mainly through stress and I've wanted to quit a few times, but to be honest, I enjoy it. My other lung isn't great either. My peak flow meter reading is around 140, 160 at best and just to give peeps an idea the lowest the chart starts is 300, so you can see my reasons for wanting to quit.
Anyway enough of that. I was browsing at vaping recommendations and saerches said I should start with an ecig kit so I bought a Jacvapour kit just before Christmas. It was ok, nothing special. In fact it didn't really do enough to wean me off the analogues and I got pretty bored after a while, especially with the batteries lasting minutes and not really much flavour. I bought some cheap juice which I refilled but it was pretty pants. That put me off as I spent almost £40 and went back on the roll ups.
A kid at work had a spinner and tank filled with Vaper Caper 'Banana Gingerbread' which he let me have a go on and I thought, fcuk, that's the style, I enjoyed it very much. This was a couple of weeks ago so so I got an Evo kit and some quality desert flavour juices, haven't looked back since.
After browsing the WWW I came across lots of information and forums with even more information, this one especially hence why I joined and I have learned quite a bit. I took the plunge to splash out on what you would call proper kit so ordered an Istick 30w with a Subtank mini. I got this through the post this morning along with some juices. I filled it up with a Lemon Ginger flavour using the 0.5ohm and fired the baby up, Jesus H Christ - this kit is flaming awesome. I've just gone through 10ml in less than 4 hours.
I'll just like to say thanks and hello to everyone on this forum, I can see this being a life long addiction. As long as it keeps me off the analogues, I don't care about the money being spent...
