What's new

Top airflow rta recommendations?

No, I don't have the DR rta. I won't buy it due to the design and the long wicks it needs. I love the original Zeus and the dual was decent so I bought the X but unfortunately the Zues X also requires long wicks and despite being an extremely sexy tank I hated it. Sold it within days. If I had known it required long wicks I wouldn't have bought it. Others like it, I hated it. I know the DR will be the same.
Oh sorry mate [emoji15]

If you got on with the mini what about the Engine 2? It's been around a while but to my mind it stands up to most of the newer tanks.

What was it you was dissapointed with?
Great looking tank but flavour was very mediocre. It's basically a bad copy of the Advken CP TF rta. The X needs pretty long wicks which is a big negative for me. Plus the airflow is badly designed. Their is an extra row of airholes in the upper section of the chimney which don't help and there's no airflow from under the coil. All of which combine for a very average vape. The original Zeus is far superior IMHO. A real shame as the X is sexy AF.

Tbh the build deck looks a pain in the arse to me..
It is a bit but when replacing coils but wicking is simple enough. I don't tend to replace my coils very often, maybe every 3 months or so so I can live with it. As I saidwicking is a straight forward which is the main thing for me.

Dead Rabbit RTA for me. I really rate it and although i have the original i bought a clone from FT last night for £6. I don't think you can go wrong with it easy build and wick top airflow and flavour is the best of all my RTA's, not including mesh tanks in that statement, although i have not tried the Zeus X.
Where is the best placement for the coils? My Dr arrived today and I've set it up and got running but I'm finding the flavour a bit meh! I'm hoping it's to do with me not setting it up correctly.

Hi @markw96 I have used Wotofo dual core fused Clapton 2.5 id 6 wraps spaced at 0.3 ohms 20190605_211715.jpg20190605_211715.jpg
as shown above make sure the cotton is not too tight and just thin the cotton legs slightly and have them just through the juice ports about a millimetre or two but not touching the deck. Hope it helps
