Troll X RTA curious...

Interesting thread this. I bought the Troll X to dip into dual coils again but I am still finding I like the mesh a little better for my high wattage vaping. And by high wattage I mean about 60/70w as I much prefer a slightly restricted and a bit cooler vape. The Troll X is good for single coil as well, the flavour is pretty good but it's not beating the Kylin Mini V2 for me yet. Again it's all about different tastes I suppose.

The Blotto sounds almost perfect for me going by posts in here. Godammnit. More fucking money to spend

The Blotto is an amazing RTA and has only 2 Faults that i can see. First is the Glass, it's just not fastened to the tank in anyway, example is you unscrew the base to do your build the glass should stay attached to the top of the tank which it doesn't, slightest touch it just drops off. It's ok when everything is screwed together though. and second thing for me is the build deck. It has a great design but getting dual coils into it is a struggle as not much room, cut legs to 3mm to give you a better chance. Good thing is it still vapes great as a single coiler with great flavour both single and better with dual. Other than that it's become my favourite RTA atm.

Damn you Odin. Now I really want one. Quite liking my dual coilers just now and still using my single coilers for day to day. The issues just seem like niggles so I'm sure I can live with them.

Not sure if your including my review of the Troll X in the three reviews your calling out as B.S. But I'll response to your question, my review, as per all my reviews, provide you with my honest opinion and I'm one for telling you straight how it is. The Troll X is a bloody good tank for flavour, is it the best? I don't know, I've not tried them all yet! Is it better for flavour than the Destiny, Yes in my opinion I think it is, but as my review points out the Troll X has its failings too. Plastic Tank, capacity shortfall and the dreaded slide to fill. Is it in my current rotation, No it isn't but neither is the Destiny at the moment.

I will add, I don't do reviews so I can get my hands on free shit, I certainly don't play up to those that provide the free shit just so I can get more. I think you will find that the majority of members on here trust the reviews within the POTV realm more than the ones you find elsewhere.

Perhaps reviews have to be more tempered than my occasional outpourings Suspect it's a good job I don't do reviews, no doubt it would have been a short-lived experience.

I wouldn't like to do reviews but wouldn't mind getting some of the things they get lol. I think reviews and reviewers have to be impartial which is going to be hard when you actually love something everyone else seems not to. It's nice to read the reviews from actual people you chat to and know if they are building it up to something it's not. I trust the POTV reviewers and all seem pretty honest about what they review and you can't ask anymore than that. Only other reviewers i really follow other than the POTV ones are Vaping With Vic, Dean The Vaping Biker and Eat Ma BB who is really a POTV reviewer. Also Zophie because i have a crush on her lol.

Hi @John R, I can honestly tell you I enjoyed using the Troll-X despite it not being my normal habitat. I can't compare it to the the other tanks you mention though for that very reason - I haven't used them.

Whilst I respect your opinion I don't think it's fair to question the integrity of the reviewers on here though, we're all genuine and only doing our best.

Bear in mind that the 'free stuff' we get isn't really free either.

We have to spend a week or more using something before spending several hours writing about it, all for something that might not suit us.

We don't choose what we review, we get what we're given, but we do it because we love it. Mostly we just end up giving the stuff away.

The problem here is that there are probably too few reviewers rather than too many. We have to be Jack's of all trades rather than specialists.

I try to give my honest opinion of things so people can make up their own minds and would never say something I don't believe just to keep doing it. I've never been asked to either.

Give it a go yourself. I'm sure you'd get some takers if you put yourself forwards. But be warned, you might find yourself reviewing disposables rather than your preferred sub-ohm tank!

Hadn’t spotted this because I’m not as active on the forum as I used to be but I suspect this might be aimed at me because my review came out the same day and I did a direct comparison with my original troll rta (I even put the same build in)..

the troll x is easier to build on, easier to wick and definitely beat the original on flavour. I’m still using it which as a reviewer should tell you something as well. (I’m using it as I write this!) Don’t get me wrong the original is still a decent vape and if yours is still working and you’re happy with it then crack on.

I dislike the filling port and have now discovered it’s much easier to fill if you remove the drip tip.

I love the Blitzen

Rivals the Unity for flavour, comes close to the Profile M, the profile M is the best flavour atty I own. Shame about the poxy fill port gasket, I've wrecked one already, using unicorn bottles, the gasket split, plus if you're not careful, when closing the top cap it cuts into the gasket like a knife or pair of scissors, total crap. What's wrong with a 1/4 or half turn top cap ffs, never mind!

Getting back into a mech, after a few years break, will be interesting to see how that compares to the mesh, other modern tanks and VV mods. Years back I found that a mech vape beat any other vape, with the right coils and atty, it was the limitations of an 18650 that put me off, cant wait to see if a 21700 can bridge the gap, tubes are so lovely in the hand.

Nope, you gotta say it how it really is, those are the best reviews I've been contacted by a vendor and agreed to do my first "official" review, as opposed to my previous ad hoc vendor giveaway win reviews, I won't change my style, if it's crap I'll say it's crap and vice versa

I think you do have to temper it though. If something about a mod or atty is shit then by all means tell everyone what's shit about it but I feel I can't ignore the good things as well. That leaves it a bit more balanced. I've been lucky so far that I've not had any real shitters, just some things that aren't really to my own taste but I'll still try to find what other people might like or not like about them. There's being honest and then there's just saying something's dog shite just cause you don't like it personally.
