I'm smarter, I let it drain out the air holes and filled it back up expecting a different result.

Absolutely. I have 3 builds that I generally run in my MTL RTA’s, all of which give a great flavour:

1) 28ga Kanthal A1, 5 wrap spaced comes in around about 1 ohm

2) 28ga Ni80, 7 wrap spaced comes in again around 1 ohm

3) 28ga NiFe30 (for TC), 9 wrap spaced comes in around 0.25 ohm

All of the above are 2.5mm inside diameter, I’ve found that to be the best size for me.

I tend to use either muji cotton pads or kendo vape cotton gold, not overstuffed.

Finally, I’ve noticed that could height from the air hole can affect the vape quite considerably. At about 1 -1.5mm away I notice more flavour and more vapour production but less throat hit. At around 2-2.5mm away I notice slightly less flavour and vapour production but more throat hit.

But you’ll find your sweet spot, I can notice as well that certain RTA’s (MTL) bring out different notes of the juice than others, I never really had that with DTL.

It looks ok, I usually use much less than that, but mine has the smaller round liquid holes.
