Trouble with Dvawr

So, I've been vaping on this a few days and here are my thoughts.

Previously my only MTL experience was with a vapresso drizzle. It was not a particularly satisfying experience but it was good for vaping next to my computer. Next, I tried a wee Vim. This was a better experience in all ways. This got me thinking that I might get on with an MTL RBA. The Dvawr is another level. The vape is amazing. Even my wife is impressed. It is easy to build on and gives great flavour. I'm still working on dialling in the wattage between 13-15w. higher wattage can give more flavour but can also give a bit of a burnt taste with a longer draw.

Issues:
the posts are a stupid design. Why doesn't this use normal post hols instead of having to wrap the wire around the screws?
The drip tip looks cheap and doesn't match the rest of the tank. It wish it was made out of either PC or PEI to match the tank material. Is it a standard tip, can I replace it? I checked on google and it seems that this is only with the clones.
Every time I open it to refill the stupid cap comes off. It is a pain to remove without damaging it. Do I need to remove and fit it back myself or will it seal if I screw the tank back together?

I’m glad to hear you are getting on well with it. I’ll try and answer your issues as best I can, and hopefully others can add their thoughts, and fill any gaps.

The posts. These sort of posts are very common on mtl tanks. In fact you could probably call these “normal” posts.

The tip. It’s a standard tip, so you can change it for one you prefer. When i first saw the dvarw being mentioned I thought it looked cheap and a bit daft as well. But after I got my coppervape one I discovered I really like it. It’s the same kind of tip that comes on the authentic, unless they’ve changed it. Fasttech also have clear yellow ultem ones if that suits you better. Tips are very much a matter of preference, though, so just stick your favourite one on there. Most people seem to prefer narrowish bore ones on mtl tanks.

The chamber cap. I see people complaining about this coming off when they are refilling. I actually get annoyed when it doesn’t come off, as it lets you get a bit more liquid in when you fill it that way (I always use the 2ml tank so a little bit extra makes a difference). Just fill it up and screw the tank back together, it works fine.

You can buy a larger chamber. I picked mine up from the marketplace and it came with a few different ones.

It looks much better with one of these tips. I didn't see these tips when searching on FT. What search terms should I use?

The white one is the one you already have installed :D

Unless yours didn’t have the original tip @silk186 , you got it used, right? If you search “dvarw” on fasttech those tips will be among the results that come up.

By chamber, I mean the inner part that has the coil inside it. Don’t worry about the top metal part of that coming off with the upper tank, just fill it up and screw it back together.

I’ve got the 2ml size top tank part and also the original big 5ml one, but I always use the 2ml these days, it suits me better. I’ve also got a spare coming from fasttech made of clear plastic to replace the metal bottom part of the tank. I think it’s listed as “spare internal tank”. And the spare part with the oval liquid holes, just to try it out.
