I've tried all manner of twisted kanthal. Its intresting to try twisting different thicknesses of kanthal together I have tried .27 .25 and .30. Not tried flattening it yet can't see what difference that would make

I like this method now I've tried it! It was fast and easy. Twisted the wire evenly and the best part was that I didn't have to get off my arse to fetch anything, just quaff my beverage. Happy days! Like it

Yep, have twisted dual, triple and quad coils.

Not tried flat kanthal yet though.

Make sure you do it over the sofa or summat boingy - at some point you'll have it break. Don't want the china ruining with your whirly shenanigans !!
