U.S Sales of cigarettes down...because of ecigs?

I thought i would share this. It's only speculation / opinion but I suspect more than a grain of truth

Of course it has....in the developed Countries like the US. Note that this is 4.5% fewer sales than projected.

The tobacco companies, however, diversified their demographic to third world countries to maintain profits. Even in places like the UK the rate of people quitting has slowed.

Make no mistake, Big Tobacco see the potential for ecigs cutting into their customer base and therefore profits. That's the reason some have been buying up Ecig companies and others developing their own.
