DaveX aren't cigarettes much cheaper over there? So still more expensive comparatively than it was to smoking. .. still likely to put off new switchers to vaping? Here our tax on cigs is loads higher... and would probably expect the same with eliquid if they go down that route...

Yep - s'all about politicos spotting someone saying the market is going to be worth $50billion by 2030. They want to shove their snouts into a bit of that.

That and active campaigning by Pharma to tax it to limit sales and Big T campaigning to tax it (despite saying otherwise) to limit others from being able to operate in the market.

Winston/Fortuna etc around 3.5e per 20, rolling baccy from 4e 50grm for decent stuff, cigars 50c each, around £0.30p each at current ex rates, in all honesty its that cheap I usually start smoking again when I go back for 7 months in March

wobbly tis cheaper than a bottle of vape juice...so people are likely to smoke rather than vape... people don't look at... well if I vape at 24mg that will last me three days longer.. tis just one costs less now that is which i will buy
