complete begginner would like tips on understanding VV, just got my new Vamo V5, need to now the basics, like for example, does turning the wattage up heat the coil more? and stuff like that!! currently using a Kanger ts3 on 6 w, but have to reduce after a couple of puffs as starts to taste hot, but should be getting a vivi nova in post tomorrow, any advice welcome
thanks

Wattage is the level of power that is being put through the coil.

Voltage and the ohm rating of the atomiser/cartomiser/clearomiser used determine the wattage.

You may find the following link useful : http://www.ohmslawcalculator.com/ohms_law_calculator.php

If you enter a voltage (E) and an ohmage (R) it works out the wattage (P) produced. It will also show how many amps will be pulled from a battery.

Have a play around with it to see how different voltages and ohmages can affect the power (wattage) and the amp draw.

If your fairly new to the technology then use variable wattage instead of variable voltage.

If you crank the wattage right up it uses the resistance of your coil in the equation so you cant damage anything.

If you crank the violtage right up you can pop your coils :)
