Updates & Mooch Ratings...

Hi Guys,

The website has been in need of an update for a while now and I'm focusing on doing it this week.

With the help of @mannikon and the kind permission of Mooch we will be updating the website to allow users to search by 'Mooch Rating', which will be set at mooch's tested max. discharge rates. I have been struggling of ways to list the cells on the website, whether by manufacturers ratings or real life ratings, and this really seems to be the answer. If you don't know who mooch is firstly where have you been haha, and secondly you can check out his 18650/26650 tests and more info here Mooch (Not sure if this is against forum rules, as this is another vaping forum - mod please advise).

I've also been making it impossible for vape shops not to educate their customers on the wholesale side of things, alot of work has been put into providing vape shops with free cases, safety sheets and cardboard boxes, in order for them to be happy they are educating their customers. I've even compiled advice and key points to touch on when selling cells to customers in vape shops. I've also invited owners of businesses and vape shops for small workshops where we can talk battery safety, customers and run some battery tests.

Sorry I have not been as active as I usually am, but will be again soon ^_^ Just though I'd let people know why!

Mooch has two main charts (well worth downloading and printing out to stick on yer wall!)

He has a few other charts especially for 26650 and of course he has a very long list of individual test results

Mooch is a thoroughly good egg and dedicated to his work on batteries and he also vapes!
He very kindly allowed Ben to use his ratings.

Ben, the work you're doing especially with shops is top notch! Hope they appreciate it! We certainly do!

This is excellent news. Good work fogstar. I still remember being relatively new to vaping, always seeing 'make sure you have the right batteries' without really being able to easily find which batteries were best. Make sure you have a long piece on the site explaining exactly who Mooch is, and how pretty much the whole vaping community go by his ratings. I really think this could be a great business move.

But most importantly, it helps anyone that's looking for batteries. [emoji108][emoji106]
