As in my introduction post I am currently vaping on an EVOD with an eGo-T battery. My question is where should I venture next in the confusing world of vaping!! My budget is fairly limited - I would love to just go out and spend money on lots of the very best equipment but I have to take small steps. A small part of why I am vaping is after all to try and save money. So, I currently have enough juice to last a few weeks so do I go for a battery upgrade? I'm thinking an eGo Twist to get a bit of VV action going on, or a different clearomiser? Maybe an iClear16 or Vivi Nova. I know a lot of this is personal preference but what do you think would be of more benefit?

If you get a spinner or twist, it's not really much of an upgrade. They aren't really going to give you alot more than you already have. I would save your money until you have a little bit more and get a full size battery and tank. You'll want one soon after getting a twist so it'll gather dust pretty soon.

The EVOD is probably one of the best tank wise...Deffo go for a Twist/VV device :)

I concur! Get some VV batteries (ie eGo Twist, eGo Spinner) and you are set.
Then, when you feel like it, explore other devices and tanks.

I personally would agree with Seedy, but any VV battery is a step up.
I was using (and still do daily) ego-t 1100mah bats. and evods. And found that recoiling the heads in the evods yourself, down to 1.4-1.5 ohms, gives a vape not that far away from my Vamo v5 with a protank on it.
So recoiling would be worth a look on a tight budget, (if you don't already do it). Saves money on new heads as well, (£2 for a head, 20p to recoil). You would still need to spend money on wick, wire and an ohm tester though.

You must have read my mind just thinking the same thing

i am in the same place as u r.. currently have a couple of evods.... then bought the kanger protanks... slightly better off but nothing substantial except the cool looks... i m tempted to buy a VV as that would be the next logical step but am resisting to do that... planning to go for a Mod but not the mechanical one... will go for a VV and VW with telescoping (means it accepts 18350 and 18650, different sizes)... if that helps!

I was in the same position last week, except I had an ego twist (1000mAh) and vivi nova tanks. My girlfriend has a standard ego and comparing the twist to that, you do get a certain degree of flexibility but that novelty will wear off pretty quickly. You'll also probably find that you'll be vaping at the same 3.7 volts as you are now anyway, if you have the lower impedance heads fitted. I ended up getting an SVD mod and an 18650 and still using the twist as a backup/bog vaper at work. The SVD p*sses all over the egos (as good as they are) - you should DEFINITELY skip the twist/spinner and go straight for a big boy mod. slap in the higher impedance heads, crank up the power and you won't look back.

Got my SVD from Eurovapez.com delivered for under 40 WITH a viv nova clearo thrown in! Another 30 quid for a battery and charger and you're good to go. Could also look at the Vamo and Lavatube - they're roughly the same price if you shop around a bit. But to reiterate - don't bother with a twist, save you're money up and use your current device as a backup.

Varying advice on which battery to upgrade to but one thing for sure is I will be upgrading my battery to a vv or a mod before I upgrade my EVODs. Think I'll stick with what i've got till next month then go for a twist or spinner. Maybe in the new year ill treat myself to a MOD but then I know it'll start getting carried away with tanks etc. Pacing myself will be the best thing for all concerned (The missus!!)
