Hello Folks,

First post here. Have been vaping for a couple of months now, started of with e-lites, did a bit of poking around and as I wanted something to "look like a cig" went for vapestick black.

Getting bored with the rubbish battery and inconsistant quality of vaping with vapestick so need to upgrade. Have gone from around 30 a day to 2/3 and keen to completly kick the habit of smoking now. I do like the design of the vapestick but think there are much better models out there for quality of smoking sensation etc.

No longer worried about anyting looking like a cig, so think I need to go for some type of ego? Also have no idea re what I need to do with buying juice etc.

Any help/opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

welcome to the planet! Many of us started small but soon realised that we needed something with abit more kick and better battery life. Ive never used an ego but folks swear by them so I dont think you can go far wrong, or you could go up a few more steps and get a vamo which will do everything (variable volatage and variable wattage). The beauty of devices like this is that when you need abit more of a kick you can just up the dial and blam! It just depends on how big you want to go :)

First of all welcome to the Planet peteireland, secondly the ego is a great move up from vape sticks, you need to check the vendor discount section and check what offers are going on, you can get a basic kit with battery and just Clearomizer but suggest you look for an offer that includes a bit of liquid, most times those getting into Vaping want tobacco but as I found there is little out there resembling a burning hot ashtray flavour and as such have moved to sweet and fruity mixes, that aside all our taste buds are different so when one person raves about a juice another will repute its flavour.

Clearomizers are really easy as you screw top or bottom off dependent which type you get and pour your liquid in wait a few minutes and vape away like a little steam train.

Have a good luck around the site as plenty of set ups and ideas and reviews on everything from liquid tests to devices tests.

Most of all your never alone on the planet and if you have a question fire away, guaranteed you will have a fair few responses on answers.

Cheers purple, I understan the pros of variable voltage but what does variable wattage do?

Any pointers as to good starter kits or where to look at buying them? Want to get one ASAP as starting to smoke more ATM....

bugger, I hoped you wouldnt ask :D I only use vv, but if I understand correct vw will find the best settings for whatever atomiser/clearomiser etc you are using. Im sure someone else will be along in a sec to explain it properly :)

VW maintains the heat, so you set a watt and it automatically adjust the volts and ohms to suit, this maintains a set heat for each attomizer so you normally set the watts and leave it no matter if your switching between 2.2 or 3.0 ohms it will always provide the same heat,

Well as a shiny new vaper myself i can't offer much advice yet, but i can do a great welcome :welcome1::woohoo::dancing::hello::happy guys::ape1::excited:

think I'm going to go for a VV ego, would like a starter kit with two batteries if possible. Does anyone know of any options to save me trawling through the sites!

All help greatly appreciated!
