Okay... May have a little problem...

is it supposed to fit like that with the glass as I cannot make it flush unless I do it without the glass... Worried it might leak from there

It should be flush, no threads showing.
Have you cross threaded it, checked your orings are in place properly?

Yeah I have tried all that... Even replaced the o-rings, it's the same with the frosted glass too
