Uwell Crown SE-1 or D1

I'm in the market for a new tank since my original Crown has issues with the base getting badly stuck and it's a real hassle to change coils now. I'll be using an RX2/3 and selling my Cuboid on soon.

I've had the Crown 2 which just wasn't working at all, it was one of the original ones and I tried the first few batches of coils before giving up on it.

I was just going to buy a new Crown but I see the D1 (both glass or one glass set up) and SE-1 have been released. I was wondering what the actual difference is between these two and which would be the better option and how the stack up against the original Crown?

I'm using a crown 2 tank, I had issues with the first batch of coils I bought also but vapeclub sent me another tube of the latest ones and they have been great. I get about 3 weeks before flavour starts to die off and decent clouds. I then wash them and get another 2 weeks out of them. I'm vaping 70/30 vg/pg at 3mg and getting through 10-15ml a day.

I just ordered an RBA deck for it because I fancy a go at byo but am happy with the latest generation of coils. Don't give up on it just yet!

It wasn't just the coils! Had real issues with it airlocking and leaking too!
The SE is meant to be an upgraded Crown II but Vapeclub don't even sell it, just the D1?

That's the shitty coils causing those problems. If I had a new one left I'd send it to you to try out but I'm using my last one before I switch to the rba deck

I saw a review on the se and it seemed a good tank. I've bought myself a tfv8 aswell but won't be using it for a while till I get a new mod.

Yeah I'm really torn between the SE-1 and the D1, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of difference between the two to determine which would be the better choice for me!

I usually use YouTube reviews to decide as they can pick up on, airflow differences, flavour/cloud production and for me noise levels when you take a lung full, which is probably the only thing I don't like about the c2

Is the SE-1 not just a Crown 2 with Rafale airflow and that chimney lock removed. Not much of an upgrade. Be better off picking up a Crown 2 with the latest coils. Probably just the early coils you were having problems with. Youll probably pick up a Crown 2 cheaper than an SE-1 as it's been out a bit longer. The RBA for the Crown 2 is pretty good too if you build. I had a Rafale as well and the airflow was was too much. Crown 2 airflow is better imo.

The D1 I think is stupid with the 2 glasses.

SE1 has a much more swooshy open airflow. D1 is slightly restricted when fully open. SE1 much easier to maintain & clean.
