What's new

Uwell Crown SE-1 or D1

I had the SE-1 and it leaks like anything
My Crown 2 also suffers from this
I think its cos they are both coated as they are black ones so dont seal properly

My Silver Crown V2 is my work horse -Never leaked - Havent tried the latest coils as im still getting through the rafale coils i have.

I have lost faith in Uwell tanks and the only new idea is to make a mini Crown 1 WTF

Haha, that has been my thought exactly since they released the Crown 2 after the Rafale. Then when they announced the Crown Mini this confirmed it even more. They haven't got a clue. Everyone else has got new ideas. Uwell just shorten an 18 month old tank which was successful because none of their other stuff took off that well. Crown 2 is quite good though just a shame they fucked the coils up (not that I used a stock coil). Used the Rafale RBA originally but made it seep around the AFC because of the heat the RBA generates I think.

I hope they make a new RBA for the Crown Mini thought as the Crown RBA wasn't good above 30w.

That's maybe why my black crowns are leaking due to Rafale coils.

Yeah I think it's the heat and the juice passes through the bottom of the coil into the base, then accumulates around the AFC ring for some reason. Either that or condensation. Juice like what happens on the Aromamizer Supreme.

I thought my base was faulty and wanted to buy another replacement. But Uwell wanted $35 or so for shipping.

Crown 2 made me pretty much ditch tanks altogether! The leaking/condensation at the airflow and the shitty coils were just too much to handle. I made the switch to RDA's a permanent thing after that tank. On the odd occasion I want to use a tank now I use a Rafale with the spitback guard in the chimney removed and the crown 2 rba. That Rba is awesome to be fair

Hmm interesting, not had any issues with my crown2. I get the odd bit of seepage but I've had that on every tank I've ever owned. The rba has been fun tonight, I found it tricky to get the amount of wick right and it restricts the airflow over the standard coils slightly. But the flavours great
