Vamo v5 and iclear 30 problem :/

I had a vamo that did the same thing.

Sounds entirely like a centre pin issue, as I over tightened mine too.

I wouldn't try and force it too much, as the pin is most likely going past the o ring, which is effectively causing a short.

I never really fixed mine (I'm lazy) but I'm sure a new o ring would probably fix it. I'm sure steffijade was the helpful soul who tried to point me in the right direction on where to get the bits.

I think u are probably right as I cleaned the threads and no go , so it has to be the pin . I have had a look at it and I can raise the pin with a sharp knife but when it's pushed down it dosent seem to pop back up fully so I would expect its something to do with the rubber ring around the pin . I'm thinking maybe I should just buy another v5 and use the old one for work as I'm a road worker , it's bound to break in my sort of work lol . And at about £30 for a new one won't hurt the bank .
