Vamo v5 and vivi nova newbie questions

Hi guys

I have been vaping for just 3 weeks now and today upgraded to a vamo v5 with a vivi nova tank and 4ohm atomizer. I just have a couple of questions if anyone would be kind enough to help out

I am using one of krakens juices that I bought online and in my previous set up (ego 1100mah battery and mini protank) it had a very nice juicy taste to it. In my new set up it vapes much better but doesn't seem to have much flavour. Now I am not sure if it is because I haven't shaken the bottle up or its my wattage/voltage settings on the vamo, the tank or high ohm atomizer.

Would setting the Vamo to wattage or voltage be the better option or are they much the same thing? At the moment I have it set to 4.2v. The ohms on the atomizer is at 3.9 according to the vamo. Would using a lower ohm atomizer be a good idea?

What tank would people recommend to go with the vamo. I have the vivi nova because it came with it but hear good things of the protank 2's.

Any advise would be most appreciated

It's all personal taste really. Just play around with it until you find a setting you like and that vapes well.
I never tried the vivi nova but did have a protank 3 on my vamo which worked really well. Lower ohms isn't really a big deal if you have a vv/vw device as you can adjust the power using the device. Just turn it up if the vape isn't satisfying enough

So for example if I set my vamo at 6w with a full battery. Would I need to adjust the wattage up as the battery depletes or does it adjust it accordingly and I can leave it set at 6w. Sorry I am very new to all of this lol. Been trying tonight to read up on it all but still trying to get my head around it.

hello rob and welcome
if you use the wattage setting turn it up untill you find a spot that tastes just right or as some people do turn it up untill you get a burnt taste then back down. if you set the wattage the volts will take care of themselves and adjust accordingly to your ohms.
as for the vivi novas i went from ce4s and alike streight to the vivi and thought it was wonderful. now i use protanks and my vivis are never used anymore as i find the pts a lot nicer taste and a lot less hassle. but as said it all comes down to personal tastes.

you should be able to leave your watts at 6 and it should stay there.

Yep if you set it to how you like it the vape will be the same until the battery runs out. That's the advantage of vv/vw over a mech

I think my next purchase is going to be a protank 2/3 as I do like the mini I just find it a little small. Just out of interest, how long should an atomizer last on average? I know it would depend on how much you vape of course.
