My favourite song is the one that I played constantly after my wife informed me that she was leaving me for someone else!
A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then and much happier times but this is still my fave!

Would agree with the Foo Fighters entry, my favourite would have been My Hero, simply because it reminds me of my dad, and it chokes me up every time i hear it.

Mine would be Gomez - Whippin Picadilly. Reminiscent of my college youth, when i didn't have a care in the world, and some of the best times of my life.

Not an entry but one of my favourite Clash songs. Written by Mick Jones about his childhood mate and longtime friend of the band, Robin Banks. There are some parallels with my own youth too.
