Hi all. New vaper here... I've searched and searched but I can't seem to find an answer to this one.
So I only used to smoke when I had a drink really or maybe 1 or 2 fags on an evening and I'm using vape as a direct replacement for that. I don't want to start using it all day, every day. That seems like a backward step for me.
Problem is that when I first fire up my device after it's been stood for let's say 20 hours it always tastes so harsh for the first 5-10 minutes. Is this normal?? Is there anything I can do?
I'm using an innokin coolfire slipstream at the moment. 70/30 VG/PG juice, 3Mg nicotine. It's a horizon vape cherry candy shortfill juice. I'm vaping at 28W with the supplied 0.8 ohm coil but I find the same problem regardless of the power setting. It maybe burns less at 20W but there's also less flavour...
I had the same problem with a couple of cheaper SMOK devices I tried before. They had no option to vary the power and I thought a lower wattage might do the trick... But no.
Is it me? Do I just have to get used to it when I pick it up every day? Does the juice oxidise when left overnight and taste bad for everyone? Is it bad juice?? Or is there something I can do??
