So very true. And gets to customs and destroyed. Order from there at your own expense.

Ali Express, Sourcemore, Everzon and probably some others are now collecting VAT at point of sale, which in theory means once package is in UK, it should clear customs pretty quick.

Fasttech aren't taking VAT yet, so there is a chance package could be returned or destroyed by customs.

to be fair, my recent fasttech order took 2 weeks exactly and was delivered by royal mail, no additional charges or problems. i looked at the tracking and it was through the customs centre in no time at all. that was with e packet shipping.

It was a bit tongue in cheek as I've ordered loads from Fasttech over the years. Around 3-4 years ago, delivery was much faster, had many packages delivered in 7-10 days, now it's 14-28 depending on what you order. However if you only order stuff that says ships in 24 hours, then delivery is still pretty quick.

aye, to be honest i was surprised it came so quickly. i used to order a bit from them too, but more recently (before that vat stuff) i had taken to using the free shipping then forgetting about it till it arrived. just for cheap stuff, parts, cheap clones, tips etc.

I've ordered from FT, 3A, 3F and AliExpress in the last 6 months.

3A, 3F and AliExpress all applied VAT and delivered within 2 weeks.

FT is slower, like others have said they still don't play the game with VAT so you are playing Russian Roulette with customs. The worst aspect about FT is the 'restocking dates' - this will frequently get pushed further and further to the right. I ordered a Lost Vape Hyperion in June with a stocking date of 25 days. This was repeatedly pushed further and further into the future, until they finally informed everyone they couldn't get stock some 5 months later. I cancelled long before this as FT have a track record of doing this.

If you do order from FT I'd advise to keep it to a relatively low £ amount.
