This is a personal review of a product I either bought or received free of charge. The opinions expressed here represent my own and not those of this website, planetofthevapes.co.uk

Following on from a thread by $upermac, I decided to have a look at their website, and look at the possibility of getting some juice.

First impressions of their website were very positive, and loved the design and layout. I couldnt believe my eyes at the cost of £1.29 per 10ml bottle, so ordered 9 bottles at 24mg NIC strength, used a code for an additional 12% off, and ended up with 90ml of juice with first class signed for less than £15, bargain!!!

Now for this price, I have to admit, I wasnt expecting much, and received the parcel in super quick time, and just tucked the jiffy bag down by my vaping box, and opened tonight, imagine my surprise, when I was greeted with this: -

The amount of information both on the box and bottle is simply astounding. The presentation is definately more than I was expecting for £1.14 per bottle.

All the relevant information is on the bottle, childproof and tactile label is also present.

I have tried a couple of the juices, and they are more than acceptable.

Positives

Price
Website and Ordering Process
Appearance and Labelling of Bottles
Service
Taste

Negatives

If I am being really picky......

.....Juices are 70/30 and whilst I am not intolerant to PG, I prefer 50/50, and there is no notification of this on their website (But in all honesty at this price, I would of still bought them!)

I assumed that they were made in the UK, but they are manufactured in China, as stated on the label. Again, not specified on their website, but lets remember kids, Assumption is the mother of all f**k ups. Not their problem, but mine.

Overall impression is excellent and will definately buy from VAPEtheAPE again :)

I never got around to reviewing the liquids he sent me and feel a total twat for it, but life is life!

My ONLY issue with the bottle labeling is the FDA logo... I also told him about this. There is not a SINGLE E-LIQUID in the WORLD that is FDA approved or should even have the FDA seal on it, it is a falsity and is probably down to VTA's manufacturer and not VTA themselves, but I am quite disappointed that after pointing this out to him, the bottles still carry the FDA trademark.

Many chinese manufacturers will have an FDA approval for something like... a medical spray bottle (like the nasal spray bottles) and then pass that FDA certification around to EVERY thing they manufacture...it's misleading to say the least and I have found more than one chinese e-liquid supplier who uses an FDA approval cert for a medical device and puts it on ECig Related stuff.

Oops, I didnt know what the 'FDA' stood for :(

not your fault :P its the Food and Drug Administration in the states...they dont approve e-liquid (its not a medicine) however, if anything, the FDA would be responsible for approving the food flavourings in the e-liquids but that doesnt say a lot considering the FDA allows known coloring's for food that cause cancers, but those same coloring's are banned from use in the UK ;)

Many thanks for the positive feedback, really appreciated.

Both our ranges of E-Liquid are 80/20 PG/VG mix and this will be added to the website shortly, sorry I missed that when the site was constructed.

We have looked into the FDA accreditation our juice manufactures supplied to us (Many thanks for the FDA link - KulrMeStoopid)

And, yes indeed it is for a medical product and not E-Liquids.

The logo will be removed from all future orders, this will take some time as we are currently holding a large stock.

Sorry for any confusion caused :whipping2:
