I don’t think it’s entirely legal anyways mate. When they’re in the truck they have belt attachments for their harness’.
There’s no windows, which bugs them, and it’s French so it’s built from disguarded tin cans, so it’s noisy and a rough ride as a consequence. It all goes towards freaking them out/pissing them off.
All told they’ll be better off with the Mrs for the day.

I definitely feel as if I’m being conspired against but they’re going to have to try harder than that.

You make it sound like I want to go to Canvey bloody Island. I grew up in the next town over the marsh, we used to laugh at people who had to live on Canvey bloody Island. The only good things about Canvey bloody Island were the bloody Chippy and the bloody bakers. Now, apparently, it’s the hotspot for mums to take their kids and unwilling husbands. I guarantee my Sunday will be spent hearing choruses of “Its so magicaullll” while huddled in a group of Dads, dreading having to pretend to enjoy the bloody Caterpillar ride that Alton Towers sold off in the early eighties and wondering if we’ll get away with sneaking off for a pint. And I bet the bloody chippy and the bloody bakers are bloody well shut.
