Hi everyone,

I flying Brisbane, Australia to Boston, USA in a few weeks. I have looked up as much info as I can about travelling with my juice and equipment. I know what I can bring, how to pack it, and know I can't vape on the plane (bummer) but wondering about my stopovers in the States (Dallas to be specific)? I will have to travel with a nic patch on, but at any point does anyone know if I can vape in the terminals? do I have to go outside? or into a smoking area? 20+hrs of travelling to do and a bit of a vape here and there would be nice. I know Sydney airport well enough to go out to the smoking area, vaping is too rare here to even bother trying to explain. I am just REALLY unsure of the etiquette... and would really appreciate any travelling/packing tips.

Thanks in advance!

Do all the above, but get a couple of disposables, and vape in the toilets, both on the plane and airports. Get a blanket as its long haul bury your head under it, and vape!

I was thinking I would take my Halo G6 mini tank set up....I heard that pre-filled carto's will leak with the pressurising on the plane...

Some airlines do sell cigalikes although i don't know about long haul flights.

I was only on cig-a-likes when I flew long haul a year ago, these were rechargeable batteries with disposable pre-filled cartridges, didn't get any leaks and happily vaped under a blanket/in the loo.

This winter, I'll be taking one or two small eGos and a couple of 1ml tanks in the cabin with me - worst case scenario I have them confiscated, I'll still have my bigger eGos, itaste, juices and good tanks in my hold baggage.

If anyone gets funny about them, it'll be more likely on the homeward trip, as Goa airport security are very jobsworth (even though airlines happily allow 1 lighter nowadays, Goa security bin them if they catch you with any)

I think I'm weird. (Apart from the obvious :P)

When I flew long haul to Aus a few years ago I was a 20 a day unfiltered rollie smoker. I was dreading the flight. Though I was in an environment where I couldn't smoke for some reason not smoking for 16 hours or however long it was didn't bother me at all. Lighting up in a smoking room in Changi airport felt odd.

If you'd put me somewhere where I could go outside and light up and I'd gone 2 hours+ without a fag and I would have wanted to break something.

I'd take a couple of dispos and do the blanket trick. None of the vapour will escape the blanket, and it won't set off the smoke alarm so you can vape to your hearts content if you want to on the sly.

I'd order some Snus. If you've never used it (it's an aquired taste!) go for mini pouches, I use mint or liquorice.

+10 to that suggestion. Snus is a brilliant solution for times when it's just not possible to vape or smoke. As sabre has said, its an acquired taste, but once you get used to it, it is really good. I'm picking up my second order from the post office today, and can't wait to taste what the "portion extra" is like - the mini portions are excellent! :D
