Hello fellow vapers. I am new to the forum and maybe I am going off topic already... I started vaping to quit smoking and for some time vaping was a great alternative, as it is harmless, and there are no health risks associated with passive vaping, for some time we could vape anywhere. As the years rolled by, it was clear that the anti-smoke Police who got on the moral high ground after the public smoking ban in the UK in 2007 were now chasing vapers down. first it was public transport , next it was restaurants , and now it is most bars as well!

I am back and forth to Sweden quite a lot and have now complimented my vaping with the occasional can of Swedish Snus - like vape this is a virtually harmless product, but it is not portrayed as such.

I am beginning to realise the extent of the conspiracies of big business - I'm not wearing a tin foil hat here ! The corruption of honest research into both vaping and snusing , and the sensational scare headlines that this research creates in the media is often conducted by researchers who are being funded in one way or another by cigarette companies.

I am connecting to the forum to learn the opinions of others about our vaping experience.

I am Blogging on my journey to quit smoking. My focus will be this contagious morality of perfectionism that seems to be running through society that is not at all about health, but is about the so called perfect telling the 'addicted' what to do!

Sometimes people can get a bit absorbed by their chosen style of vaping and equipment and kinda lose sight of the end goal.

Hi and welcome. We used to have a snus sub-forum but it never really took off.
I did bring some back from Sweden last time I went, sent a few portions out to those interested, but with the difficulty of getting it in this country it was never going to be anything more than a novelty thing.

I have a mate that lives in Gothenberg and he vapes and snuses. I have tried Snus but TBH I thought it was bloody awful, each to their own. When I was a kid I remember a product called Skoal Bandits and Esther Rantzen went on a one woman campaign against it. Isn't that the same as Snus?
