Vaporesso Orca Solo Plus

I'm looking forward to mine arriving. Tee, hee. The old girl I gave my original to, is adamant she's happy with the original. And as she's still off fags, who am I to argue?
So as the father in law, is a lost cause, my son in law won't part with MY Orion, it looks like muggings here will be trying it out.

Great review i liked the first one the Orca solo for stealth vaping in the car Vaporesso have contacted me asking if i would like to try the Orca solo plus so looking forward to trying this when it comes.

Nice review mate. I've got one coming for review too so looking forward to trying to burn the coils lol.

I really liked the original, still the only device I rwally enjoy mtl with so I've got high hopes for this one.

As @eyeball kid has kindly given us all the main details on this device I'm not gonna repeat it all. It's a great little stealth device overall, but just want to add my thoughts on the coils provided.
As I'm MTL I tried the 1.3 ohm first. TBH I'm not grtting much flavour from this coil. The wicking holes are tiny on this coil and may account for some of the reason that flavour is a bit muted to me. I'm not getting any dry hits and am able to get a nice tight MTL draw but they are not satisfying for me on any of the settings.
The 0.6 ohm is a totally different story. Am getting really intense flavour from this one and it is particularly good for fruit flavours. Despite it being aimed at RDL I am still able to get a loosish MTL draw with 3 holes open. It is a bit warm but not hot on the lowest setting (16 watts). Not a perfect draw for me but close enough and as I say flavour makes up for this.

Personally, what I would like to see is a 1 ohm MTL coil in the range of 10 to 15 watts. Perhaps even a mesh one. Don't know how possible that is but that is just my view.
Anyway thanks Jessica from @Vaporesso for sending this to me. Have enjoyed testing it out.

Spot on rew.
Hard to beat as a pocket rocket.
I've stuck with the ought, six coils as they are the better by far. The heat calms after you've used the mod for a few weeks and the power settles but a one ohm of the same design as the sun ohm one would be great.
Gonna test it side by side with the taifun \ aspire tank next.

I only got mine this morning, and I've taken it everywhere since. As I'm a bit sensitive to PG. my eldest will be reporting on the MTL, coils and use.
It's a big upgrade from the last Orca, in my view. The .6 coils give great flavour and enough vapour to keep most happy. With the AFC wide open you get a nice vape thats presently warm. Stepping the AFC down, decreases vapour but doesn't heavily affect flavour.

Looking a build quality. Everything fits nicely, with reasonably smooth threads and no mismatches at junctions. Though only time will tell, but the paint seems thick and of good quality. Even the micro USB fits snugly.
The fire button is of the clicking type, with nice feel. It fires every time, no matter how small an area you apply pressure to. My only comment is, for my sausage fingers, it's a tad small.

it all come packed in a nice box. With a refreshingly full set or safety warnings and the basic instructions on operation. You also get. .6 mesh and a 1.6 ohm wire coil, a spare tank glass and a nice braided micro USB cable.

it's hard to figure how you could get a better stealth or starter mod/ tank at the asking price.

All in all, after only a few hours. Nice one Vaporesso.:imstupid
