I do understand the need for companies to place reserves on new businesses or those that have risky trading patterns too, but when a business is as small as mine at the moment it really is a case of working hand to mouth with stock control and these things are potential business killers.
Phone them up and try to get to merchant services. They should be able to drop the reserve for you if you have a history of trading from that account and no disputes. In their own words 'they just need to use some common sense when settings reserves'. The people that set the reserves are just admins that just follow a flow chart and if anything raises a flag they hit you with the 100% reserve.
