Very hit and miss

That's interestjng as they are two I have. 50/50 pg vg at 18 nic. I haved used 10% flavour. Is that simua,r to what you have made ?

I have made them both up at 12mg nic, as 60vg/40pg mixes. The chocolate milk was at 15% flavouring with 2 drops of EM in a ten ml mix. I've just tried it, quite good but very weak in flavour. I will use it, but next time I will mix it at 20%. The crazy creamy custard I mix at 15% with 3% dulce de leche and a drop of EM. Really good, just trying it again with 3% Bavarian cream added to it. I've also started adding other flavours to the custards with mixed success.

No worries. I should mention that I generally like full on flavour with my juices. What tastes weak to me might be right for you. Keep us posted on how you get on.

i screwed up quite a few custards by adding 6%(total) of other flavours....i've reined it in a bit and found that even as low as 0.25% of an accent flavour/s can be quite pleasant while not smothering the custard.

of course its all very subjective..
I'm using capella.
 
Well starting to have a bit of success with the custard, tried a bit today and whey way some flavour, not a great deal but some!!!!! I'll leave it another week and try again, the milk chocolate smells lovely but I'll give that another week too
 
flavours steep at very different rates ..i got 10 ml capella newyork cheese cake lovely after 12 days ...but crazy creamy custard same 12 days tastes ummm well its not ready yet ,hope it changes alot and soon
 
I don't really know what to say, just tried my crazy custard after steeping for 3 weeks and a little bit of wee has escaped in excitement. Creamy, caramel, custard. I feel another batch and some steeping coming on!!!!!

Currently waiting for a custard mix to steep.... Everyone is saying 3weeks plus. Painful wait..... I sniff the bottle on a daily basis :weirdo:
 
Everyone differs, but personally I leave custards for at least 2-3wks before trying, but each day for the first week I open the bottle, squeeze the air out, let some air back in, then shake it. I also use 15% of Kandi-hed's 'crazy creamy custard' flavouring, along with dulce de leche @2-3% and maybe some Bavarian cream at 2%. Maybe try a bit more flavourings added with a bit more steeping. let us know how it goes...

I love it!!! The Grants custard recipe, apparently from Grant himself before fame struck is the one I wrote, but should be with Capella custard. You should be onto a winner!
