VG based nicotine.

Feel free to correct me and apologizes if i might asked the odd stupid question.

I have started to make my own juice as it seemed easy enough.

I have the right messurements for a 70vg 30pg mix i did but i am tasting more nicotine then actually flavour. Now i know more pg means more flavour but i have tried a mix at this ratio before and it tasted really nice.
All i am getting is the after taste of the vg nicotine, i also added more flavour and still no joy.

Im thinking it's the vg nicotine, or does all the other types smell and taste the same?

You need to tell us how much nic you are using and some info about your set up. Post up your recipe with how many ml of each component.

Sorry i thought i missed some vital info.. I made a 30ml bottle.

PG. 6.66 ml
VG. 17ml
Nicotine is 72mg strength vg based. My target strenght is 8mg which amounts to 3.3ml

Flavouring was at first 15% but all i was getting was the nicotine after taste. I upped it to 25% which gave me more flavour but still that horrid after taste.

But recipes i have seen use less flavouring but don't state if the nicotine is VG based. Are there better types of nictine to use?.

I bought a gold pack starter kit off the alchemists cupboard and the brand of flavouring is cappella.

Your recip looks correct, amount of nic is correct. I've used alc cup vg nic before as they are very local to me, it vaped fine and i couldnot tell the difference between it and that from 2 or 3 other suppliers, but i only vape at 3mg. I wud be able to taste 8mg for sure.

Some say vg nic has more pepper taste/smell.

You cud try nic from pirates vape as this is supposed to be the cleanest tasting, tho' i cud not tell the diffference between it and alc cup. They do a "free" 10ml sample for the price of postage. http://piratesvape.uk/index.php?route=product/category&path=71_75

I think it's unlikely you got a bad batch because alc cup make a lot of juice, but not impossible. Maybe contact them, they're a friendly enough bunch and see what they say.

Sry but cant think of much else to suggest, it's a process of elimination i'm afraid.

I use 72 mg VG base from everything liquid and I find it bob on.
I vape at 12mg and no nic taste here
