Vg pg nicotine help

Mick I have had a good luck at dark star and gonna make a order up ready for payday Friday . Mega thanks for all ya input . Gonna do this !

Do ya mind me asking why you don't like high vg juice

Just not my bag really.
I use boots VG which is already incredibly thick, not sure if thicker than 'real' VG but certainly thick.
£1.35 for 200ml.

PG carries flavour a little better IMO
I like 50/50 in my DIY, sometimes 60% VG, been all the way to 80% but prefer 50 or 60.

As mentioned above, wicking can become an issue the thicker the juice.
I have generally been Ok, just prefer 50 / 50 for some reason?
Can't say why really, habit, head, who knows.

@snox . good choice in my opinion. I use darkstar for vg, pg, nic and flavours and get great service from them. agree with mick that probably best to start with small amount first and see if DIY mixing is for you. Do plenty of research on the internet and you'll find plenty of sites such as this one http://e-liquid-recipes.com that have recipe ideas which can be a big help, as well as the mixology section on here as well.

Good luck with it . I can't see anywhere on their site which indicates what % concentrate will make the stated pg/vg ratio but it might be on the bottle. If not, don't worry about it because it won't make a great deal of difference. Depending on the make and flavour of concentrate you choose, it'll probably be between 5% to 15% flavour. If you then decide you like the idea of mixing then you can look into doing it properly and get your ratios as accurate as you want.

Mick your a star . If I grabbed this would I go on adding 10-15% flavouring.
That depends on what flavour and make you go for. For instance, Capella generally need 15% but Flavourart is strong so you usually only need between 3 and 10%.
If you look at the reviews on the vapable website they can give you an idea how strong to do them.

Gonna go for the 3 mg unflavoured base liquid with a 60_40 vg pg . Have seen what ya mean Mick regards flavour % , the dark star flavours have a recommended % . I think I have a little bit of cash left to buy some bottles n syringe before payday .

Most concentrates have the recommended % on the bottles or on their website.

I personally wouldn't go down the road of ordering base mix as I vape mouth to lung and direct to lung so require different nicotine % ie... 3mg of nic for dtl and between 6 to 10 mg of nic for mtl.

It really is easy to mix using an eliquid calculator....

Just type in your desired mix

then mix to the stated ml or grams

hope this helps?

Cheers Gaz . This is more a experiment / bit of fun . I tend to only vape blackcurrant n menthol kinda juices , gonna be interesting to see how the different strengths if flavour come out doing ya own mix .

I'm very boring and unimaginative, I normally mix one shot concentrates but you can go to town mixing your own recipies.

Good luck with it....

@snox when you get your stuff , make up some 10ml bottles . One with 5% one 10% and one 15%. (Depending on what concentrate you buy and what they recommend adjust percentages )
I'm sure you can see what's happening here. Once steeped , try each one , starting with the weakest to find out which % is right for you. Take notes so you don't forget.
Then you'll realise how easy it is and will want to do it properly with individual solutions which works out much cheaper in the long run.
Then get back to us with your questions and we can talk you through it.
