Ok, so Im new to all this so could be making some stupid error ( which is very likley ). Bascially I have had the mini nova and 2.5 standard nova for a few weeks now. I have tried them on 3 diffrent batteries and I have had nothing but issues.

I ran the mini on the itaste vv with a 2.4 head between 3.3-3.6v and got about a day out of it before I started getting the burned taste. This happened about 4-5 times, each time I changed the head and same thing. In the end I gave up and its sat at the back of the cuboard doing nowt.

I tried the 2.5 on the itaste MPV and it would not even fire, tried it on the itaste vv and on a ego-c and and nowt again. Changed the head and still nothing.

I know many people speak very highly of these but for me they have given me nowt but issues. Im now back to the C5 V3 and happy again. Im not not sure they are for me when the C5's seem so much easier to use.

You may need to move the centre post on the Vivi Nova down slightly. Some of the 510 centre contact heights vary on my vaping devices and they can push this post upwards. I have had this problem on 1 Vivi Nova - and recently on an A7.

Thanks bud, is there an idiots guide on how to do this ?

Look at the bottom of the Vivi Nova (the bit that screws into the 510 connector) the middle bit of it has a screwdriver flange in it. Gently unscrew it with a screwdriver, without pushing down. When it is slightly proud of the surrounding metal it should be fine.

Are you using the short or long wick coil head versions?

I've found the long wick versions tend to suffer less from the burnt taste and if using the short wick versions, I've found it helps to keep the tank fairly well topped up and tip em regularly to ensure the wicks are being fed properly.

It onlly needs to be slightly proud 1 mm (ish) is enough - just enough for it to be able to make contact with the centre battery connector on your device.

Using the long wick version on them all.

Thanks again, I will give it another shot.

That's why I didn't offer advice ... in case you took the shot, hopefully you won't point the gun closer to your head when you take the other shot ... :strawberry:
