voltmeter wiring help needed

Hi all going to build a dual 18650 unregulated box mod with a mosfet,I want to put a voltimeter in,can anyone tell me how to wire it in,I have an idea that it goes on to The 510 connection pos and neg and works when you hit the switch,have I got this right if not can someone point me in the right direction.
