Voopoo Drag what batteries?

Cheers..Not sure what wattage just yet looking for batteries that will safely let me use up to 150 if needed. I doubt would use 150 but just in case maybe highest will be 120-130

Sorry I missed this reply. The 30Q would be fantastic for you, and offer more capacity than the VTC5A. Even pushing to 150W now and then would be OK, but for 120-130W max the 30Q is a great choice. So is the VTC6, but usually more expensive with a CDR of 19A vs the 30Q's 20A, although it runs slightly cooler.

Will you be using the full 157W all the time, or just pushing to this every now and then?

I spoke to Mooch a while back about the best batteries for mods, after discussing with someone else if the VTC5A was worth buying over something like the 30Q.

If you will be vaping under say 120W most of the time, you will be better off with the Samsung 30Q, LG HG2 or Sony VTC5A. They still give more capacity than the 25R, or even VTC5A even when pushed to 75W per cell the way we use 18650's, under high amp loads in regulated mods. His response actually was for up to 75W per battery, one of the 3000MAH, 20A batteries are usually the best choice.

If you are intending on running it constantly at full power, the VTC5A would be a better choice for ultimate safety, but even then it is only 157W so unless you are chain vaping you won't need them . The LG HB series won't be worth it, these are best when you are really, really pushing things.

Thank you for the reply. I can't see myself vaping at 157w. I've only just got some rdas so am yet to try anything above 80w. Personally I doubt I'll be going over 120w once tried some lower ohm coils so based on your suggestions a pair of Samsung 30qs would be ok and if want to stretch my budget go for vtc5as but either would be perfect match?

For the sake of a few pence just get the Sony's you can pick them up for £5 each and they are worth every penny.

Nextdaybatteries and 18650.com are both reliable and I doubt you will find cheaper.

It' s a no brainer to me, 30Q's are fine for that mod so he can take advantage of the extra capacity they are great batteries.

Either would be good, the 30Q will run for longer between charges, especially at under 60W per cell (120W). The VTC5A is great too though, I would get whichever is cheapest- either will be a perfect match. If you was planning on full power all the time then the VTC5A, but if not there is not any benefit to that battery.

Anything from 40 to 120 for me I reckon once tried different coils

They would be fine for at least 50W per battery, and as it uses dual 18650's the HG2's will be great.

Crap...I've got 2x LG HG2's in my Drag powering a TFV12 at 140W (70W per cell). Is this out of the safe load for this battery? I've been running 140W in a 2 cell mod with these LG's for a while now.
