Hi All

I am looking at getting a VV battery in a couple of weeks, I have been looking at the ego twist, but would like to know what you recommend?

Should I go for the twist of go for something like the vamo or lava tube?

Or can you recommend a different mod?

Thanks

It's difficult to say. The ego twists are a great start to vv vaping, but if you feel you will eventually end up wanting to try a mod like the vamo or lavatube, you are better off going straight for a kit. Undoubtably you will enjoy which ever you decide. :-)

Convenience against cost to me.

The twist is cracking little thing, and if you treat it right, it will do the same to you. However, due to being a fixed battery I class it almost as a throw away item, and they ain't cheap just to throw out.

Also only goes up to 4.8v though in reality, many people probably won't go above that anyway :)

But with the price of some very decent mods coming down in price due to new releases and stiffer completion, i'd be tempted to go straight in at the deepend :) IMVHO as always :D

Hi Crafty - I'm new to all this as well, and have a Twist (1000mah) and a Kanger T3. It seemed a good compromise to me, as it's still relatively small compared to a lot of the higher end VV mods. I use the Kanger with a 1.8ohm atomiser with the Kanger.

I also have the EGO Twist, its great. I intend on getting a MOD soon, but the EGO will be a fantastic backup.
A decent backup is a must, the EGO twist is a great battery and a perfect "oh shit my (place name of MOD here) is broken" replacement.

The ego twist deserves a place in everyones pocket as small enough to slip in any pocket and warms you to the VV world.

Would agree with Vapemonkey1980 (happy anniversary by the way) I rarely go above 4.5 volt and I have a device that goes to 6v that aside I am now onto VW and love the fact I set my device and it sticks at that no matter what I put on top of her.

So if you go for a twist it will get you tempted but I suppose if you don't mind size I would go for a VV/VW mod if budget permits.

Thanks for all the info, I think I will go for the Twister(on payday!) and maybe look at a mod a couple of months down the line.
